Stoked to release this trip into an alternate universe, where big brutalist buildings overlook crowded cities and give the possibility to people to become pure digital entities.

This 160g 12'' Vinyl LP is released in 2 versions:

    - Marble Effect (White and Black)
    - Haze Effect (Red and Blue)

Gramma Vedetta draw inspiration from vintage sci-fi of the late 70s and early 80s. Heavily distorted guitars, soaring melodies and driving rhythms create a huge progressive sound that transcends this dimension.

"This band are able to take obvious and retro influences and make them their own. The familiar elements sound fresh and quirky at almost every step, leading to an album that has something to discover on each successive play. " (Real Gone)

"It's good to find so much creativity, finesse, good riffs and viral melodies concentrated in a single album. The Hum Of The Machine is a continuous explosion of lights and shadows in the world of heavy rock." (Metal Integral)

about

However high the speed of your thoughts may be, the lights of the city and of the stars above them travel at a greater speed. Making them, in fact, unreachable.
As soon as the Transmission is off, you realize that the hum is more important than reaching for the stars.
You make the phone call to 1107645 to book your appointment at the Tower. Because you realised you found Comfort in The Hum of the Machine.
Again this song is one with multiple vibes. A space ballad at the beginning, a progressive rock central section that leads to the final dramatic guitar solo and repetitive chorus.
Think Alice In Chains jamming with Rush and inspired by Queen.

lyrics

Transmissions off, I'm done for the day.
Time to remove the tubes from my face.

The black dot on the wall, the tower
A million miles away.

Chase the stars on a high-flying ship
Gates of colours, the pleasure to be afraid.

Woah, Electric life cuts like a knife and it soothes the pain.

I feel the comfort in the hum of the machine
I feel the comfort in the hum of the machine
I’ve seen the colours, no man has ever seen.
I’ve seen the colours, no man has ever seen.

Inside a black hole, people won’t believe it.
I’ve seen the tower creating human dreams.
